Niya (she/her) began dancing with Ballet Chelsea in 2015 after moving from northern California. She has been dancing since she was five years old and has loved it ever since. Niya currently attends Washtenaw Community College and also works at the Chelsea School District Preschool. She is excited to be in the studio sharing her passion for dance and the technique and life lessons she has learned from this amazing organization that has shaped her into the person she is today.
