Ballet Chelsea is thrilled to be offering in-studio classes for our 2021 summer programming. Our summer dance programs provides a tremendous experience and opportunity to explore movement of all kinds while honing dance technique. Our unique programs allow dancers to immerse themselves in a professional training environment using creativity and imagination to develop and enhance their passion for dance. Registration is open.
Registration for Ballet Chelsea’s Summer Dance Programs is open. Registration will close on the start day of each program with the exception of our Summer Dance Intensive, which will close on Sunday, July 18, 2021.
Request to enroll after the deadline will be assessed on a case-by-case bases.
Registration for Ballet Chelsea classes and summer programs is done through our online portal, DanceStudio-Pro (DSP). New dancers will need to create a profile to register for classes.

- Place a check mark in the box to the left of the class(es) or program(s) you would like to enroll in
- Once checked, scroll to the bottom and click the Submit button
SUMMER DANCE PROGRAMS
Ages 4-5 | June 22-24
Princess & Prince Camp
Have some fun with your favorite characters through music, movement, story and craft. Using techniques designed for young imaginative minds and bodies students will work on body alignment and posture as well as develop self-expression through creative movement. Students will learn a dance, make a costume prop, and perform virtually for family and friends on the last day!
Ages 6-7 | June 29 - July 1
Under The Sea Camp
Calling all sea animals age 6-7! This 3-day camp is designed for the creative exploration of dance in imaginative ways through dancing, crafting, and story-time! Dancers will develop new ways of self expression while learning the fundamentals of dance! Students will also have the opportunity to perform virtually for family and friends on the last day!

2 Week Mini Class Sessions
An abbreviated versions of Ballet Chelsea's year round instructional programing. Our carefully crafted curriculum trains well-rounded, versatile dancers in the fundamentals of all dance. Open to all levels and ages 3+, our curriculum includes a combination of Ballet Technique, Pointe, Variations and Repertoire, Character, Pilates, Contemporary, and workshops.
Age 8-12 | July 26-30
Intermediate Mini Ballet Intensive
This mini intensive offers the continued learning of classical ballet technique through a professional class progression, point and pre-point, repertory, and choreography. Barre work, center work, and traveling exercises are designed to better technique while repertory and choreography classes develop performance quality and build confidence. Through the exploration of ballet technique, use of space, and musicality students will work toward the creation of their own original class combinations which they will share and teach to their fellow dancers to build camaraderie and foster independence!

Advanced Performance Intensive
The Ballet Chelsea Performance Intensive is designed to allow advanced dancers to immerse themselves fully in their art through an intensive rehearsal process that will culminate in a performance project.
Week I August 2-6 | Week II August 9-13 | Week III August 16-20
Summer Dance Intensive (SDI)
Ballet Chelsea’s Summer Dance Intensive serves the serious ballet student by offering an intensive training process that nurtures personal growth through personal attention and training excellence. Students are exposed to a broad curriculum that includes daily ballet technique, pointe, repertory, modern, contemporary ballet, and conditioning methods in addition to educational dance seminars. Students may choose to attend 1, 2 or 3 weeks. Dancers who are not currently working en pointe may take week I of our SDI and combine that with the Intermediate Mini Ballet Intensive.
